
Entry Requirements
It is a condition of entry that all Members and Visitors are required to comply with the Constitution and Policies of Old Bar Beach Bowling Club Limited. All persons entering the Club must present membership card or valid photo ID on entry.
Members
Upon arrival at the club, members must present a valid membership card at reception. To receive member discounts, ensure you use your card for all purchases at the bar, café, or bistro.
Visitors
Upon arrival, visitors must present valid photo ID, such as a driver’s licence showing their current address, to sign in. They will then be given temporary membership for the duration of their visit (valid for 7 days, visitor must retain physical copy).
Minors
Minors, or individuals under 18 years of age, are permitted to enter the club in line with its rules. They must remain in the immediate presence of a responsible adult member, such as a parent, guardian, or someone acting in that role. Minors are required to leave the club when the responsible adult does, or earlier if necessary.
Dress Code
The Dress Code applies to all members and visitors entering the club. No Headwear including caps, beanies, hats, bandanas etc. (Medical, Religious Headwear and female bowlers in full bowls uniforms excluded). No men’s singlets or muscle tees. Appearance must be clean, tidy and respectful at all times. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons, or ask any person to leave the club at any time. Children under the age of 15 years are exempt from dress regulations.

Our Clubs are subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1998. The Act contains 10 National Privacy Principles that set standards for the handling of personal information. The Clubs have a commitment to privacy and the safeguarding of member, visitor and staff personal information and take this responsibility very seriously.

Any personal information provided to Club Old Bar, Club West or Club Old Bar Motel (e.g. name, address, date of birth, contact details, transaction or payment details), including information collected as a result of a membership card being placed in a gaming machine or other club machine that is linked to a member loyalty system (not ATMs) that may provide a benefit or service to the individual, will be protected.
We do not disclose personal information to any other organisation or person unless there is a legal requirement to do so. We may also disclose personal information to relevant authorities if it reasonably believes that there is a threat to an individual’s life, health or safety, or public health or safety. If Club Old Bar, Club West or Club Old Bar Motel has reason to suspect that that unlawful activity has been, is being or may be engaged in, personal information may be used or disclosed as a necessary part of any investigation and reporting to relevant persons or authorities.
If an individual does not wish to receive information about services and promotions, on request, we will remove their name from mailing lists.

Club Old Bar, Club West or Club Old Bar Motel may disclose information to third parties that provide services under contract to the club. These contracts require the third party to keep personal information confidential and secure.
An individual has a right to access any personal information that Club Old Bar, Club West or Club Old Bar Motel may hold about them, including a right of correction of your information. The clubs will generally not charge a fee for an individual to access their personal information.

Under the Registered Clubs Act Patrons visiting our registered Club you are required to produce suitable identification to gain entry to the premises. Suitable identification is primarily Driver’s License, Passport and Proof of Age Cards. We record your details when signing in. Club West and Club Old Bar uses an electronic sign in system and in most cases will scan your identification for faster and safer processing.
Dress Regulations
When visiting Club Old Bar or Club West, appearance must be clean, tidy and respectful at all times.
The following dress standards apply to all members & patrons, and are not permitted to be worn in Club Old Bar or Club West at any time:
Bare feet, torn or dirty footwear
Provocative or offensive clothing
Headwear, including hats, caps, beanies, bandanas, etc.*
No singlets or muscle shirts
No torn or dirty clothing
No motorcycle club colours
No swimwear
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons, or ask any person to leave the Club at any time.
Note: Children under the age of 15 years are exempt from dress regulations. *Medical, religious headwear and bowlers in full bowls uniform are excluded.
Showing Identification
If you are under the age of 25, you should be prepared to show photo ID to prove you are over the age of 18 on entry when buying alcohol at our venues.
As per the Liquor Act 2007, it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. Fines of up to $2,200 can apply.
The following are acceptable forms of ID:
A driver or rider licence or permit issued in Australia or another country
NSW digital driver’s licence
Australian or other passport
Recognised Proof of Age card
Australia Post Keypass
Keypass in Digital ID
Note: Conly the Keypass (Over 18) identity card can be accepted as evidence of age.
